An ideal variant (but also the most expensive) is for each converter on a plate. This method of connection is sometimes the only possible. For example, when you need to receive a signal from satellites spaced far enough apart (for example, 36 ° E and 4 ° W)

But, if the satellites are close (4.8 ° E and 4 ° W, 13 ° E and 4.8 ° E, 13 ° E and 19 ° E) and there is a signal level margin for some of them, then several converters can be placed on one plate . At the same time, the dish is oriented to receive the satellite with the weakest signal in the usual way. This signal will be received by the converter in the focus of the dish. The side converters will receive signals from other satellites. The right converter will receive the satellite to the left of the main one, the left one - to the right of the main one.

Of course, the signal to the side converter will not come as well focused as the main one. In the plane of the converters, the spots of the signals have the following form: 6

When using conventional LNBF, only a part of the spot gets into the irradiator, i.e. the signal from the side satellites is quite weak. In order to maximize the use of the side signal, it is useful to use converters with a separate feed that is wider than that of the LNBF. The irradiator is a device, according to which the signal is collected in a converter. However, it should also be noted that the signals from other satellites in the vicinity of the side satellite you need will also be eroded and the spots of their signals will run into your spot.

Usually on neighboring satellites there are no signals with the same (or close) frequencies in the same polarization, but in different polarizations there is quite a lot. Therefore, the accuracy of the angle of inclination of the side converters becomes even more important than for the central converter. If the angle to the converter is incorrect, the signals will come simultaneously from two satellites and even if the signal level is high, its quality will be very low, down to 0.

When using conventional LNBF on the side converters receive signals with a higher level. When setting up, you must also take into account the fact that the satellites are also at different heights. Therefore, the higher the satellite, the lower you need to install converter. 8

Tuning different tuners in different ways. The main actions are:

1. Enable use of DiSEqC in settings
2. When prescribing (scanning) channels, specify the number of the converter (it can be 1, 2, 3, 4 or A, B, C, D)

Now, when switching channels, the desired converter will be turned on.

The problem of attaching additional converters can be solved in several ways.

If you plan to add one or two additional converters to the main converter, you can get by purchasing an industrial fastener of a multi-fid (see photo above).

If you want more converters, you will have to make the mount yourself. The following photo shows one of the options for such a self-made attachment with 4 ° W, 4.8 ° E, 13 ° E and 19 ° E: 10
